ISOLATION ROOM

Welcome to the isolation room! Here you will find out about everything about isolation. From what isolation is to what will help keep you entertained during it!

WHAT IS ISOLATION?

Isolation is when you do not leave your home because you have or might have coronavirus (COVID-19).

This helps stop the virus spreading to other people.

How long do I isolate for?

You have to isolate for 10 days or more depending on whether you develop any symptoms during that time period.

what can I do to keep myself entertained?

Here are our top 10 things to try during your isolation to keep you entertained:

1. Netflix

Netflix in our opinion, is one of the greatest things ever created to keep you entertained during isolation. You can get hooked on a TV series or even delve into a trilogy of films. It is the perfect way to keep you entertained if you are a lover of TV and Film.

2. Meditation

Meditation is a great way to relax and unwind. Why not take this time you have to relax and discover yourself and your mind in a quaint relaxing state free from distractions.

3. Tik Tok

Tik Tok is such an addiction that can keep you entertained for hours scrolling through videos. Or if you are feeling brave, you could even try your hand at becoming a Tik Tok creator yourself. Or why not try out some of the famous Tik Tok life hacks (One of our festival creators recommends the ice coffee hacks).

4. Baking

It's amazing what baking can do! (Any Musical theatre fans out there will definitely get the reference) But on a serious note, baking can be so much fun. You can let loose on your creative side and try out some wacky new flavours or even try your hand at the famous Lockdown Banana Bread that everyone seemed to make.

5.Reading

Why not lose yourself in an exciting book or book series? Use this time to read that book that you said you were going to read back in the first lockdown but never got round to.

6.Online Games Night

Why not organise an online games night over Zoom with your friends? You could create a quiz round each and test each others knowledge or even test your friendship (You could see if Sarah remembers the name of that guy you dated in school).

7. Make a Bucket List

Why not make a bucket list of things you want to do when you get out of isolation? You could even start planning and booking things in while you are isolating to give yourself something to look forward to.

8.Make something new out of something old

Do you have something that you don't wear or use anymore? Why not get creative and up-cycle or turn it into something new?

9.Video Games

Are you a gamer perhaps? Why not play some video games and see if you can finally get past that level that you gave up trying on maybe.
